Teddahlia very true. Some of them are incredibly hard to capture accurately. If I can’t seem to get a good picture of a certain bloom no matter time of day, weather, cloud cover, etc, I‘ve started switching to recording a short video just a bit before golden hour & that seems to be working. Then I can usually use that to show different angles & depth of how light hits it & also grab a pretty good, as close to true to life still from it if need be. I have a really hard time sharing a picture that doesn’t look the same as what’s in front of me but sometimes, despite best efforts there’s no way at around it. (Probably why I’ll never post a Thomas Edison picture 😂.)
