edewitt your photo of Wyn's Eeek! is truly extraordinary, even with a shallow bloom. I hope you can find it again, I'd love to see a performance comparison from NM. The petals in your photo remind me of old-fashioned ribbon candy, very sweet.
@Teddahlia what is the correct spelling for your new beauty, I see that The American Dahlia Society spells it "Hollyhill Leticia" however Crazy4Dahlias spells it "Hollyhill Letitia"?
Krista I am curious also. Crazy 4 had it as Letitia and also the images were named Latitia.
I also practice a lot of 'live and let die' gardening. 
I was able to acquire and grow Wyn's Eeekk!! one year. I loved it! Au Beau Pre used to sell it, but they are not shipping to the US this year. I planted it in a pot so maybe I still have it.
edewitt Honestly, it was always a bit shallow for me, too, but the wild long petals masked that fact. For comparison's sake, here's Wyn's Eeek in my garden years ago... I took SO many picts of it that I feel a bit pathetic. Every year I tend to ignore all but a few stand-out varieties.
blown_dry Oh my, I hadn't noticed the third spelling from Crazy 4 - the plot thickens. I sure hope your Wyn's Eeekk!! makes it, I'd love to see how it does in your garden as well. And it's encouraging to hear it continues to live in some corners of the world.
Oh CiCiVacation, I would take many many photos of this outstanding specimen too, you're in good company. Interesting how much less variegation yours has in this photo. Very beautiful indeed.

Ha. Haven’t heard anyone talk about Wyns Eeek for ages. Probably since last time you did. I remember your Eeek stories.
I had Wyn's Eeek, but it did not make a good cut flower so I let it go. Sometimes I would take on to Market with me and just display it on the table to attract interest to my display of premade bouquets.
I was late to the Cowlitz opening. Then I didn't meet the order minimum, but I couldn't add to the count in my order because limit of 1. By the time I added stuff and checked out again, the stuff I really wanted was sold out. C'est la vie!
I was so close to getting Salish Twilight Girl but just barely missed it at Cowlitz River. I also realized she'd listed Rolf on there and I hastily added it before I checked out and on my invoice I see it was set for $0. 
I'll wait a bit before I email her asking what the actual cost is so I can pay her for it. That might be the nicest "uniform" variegated flower out there.
I had tubers in my cart and I was filling out the information, but removed everything when I saw the soonest I could get my order was end of April.

Inspired by al the wyn’s eeek reminiscing I managed to snag 3 delightful weirdos - shaggy dog /kung foo kitty /and Hapet electra but wooo that was intense. Things kept selling out and disappearing from my cart as I was trying to check out. Very nerve wracking!
I was wondering how the minimum order plus tuber limits would play out. I kept dropping under $25 as items sold out and gave up after I lost Hapet Cupid. I will keep checking for restocks. Teresa is so nice, she was very helpful last year when I forgot to add early shipping. Also, I very much relate to her bio where she says her mom told her “You’ve gone completely overboard”. My mom is completely supportive and we will be traveling to the National Show together but I’m pretty sure she feels the same hahaha.
Darce Kung Fu Kitty looks pretty cool. I'm wondering if it's an offspring of Vista Cody/Vista Pet or Horsefeathers? The barbed petals add a pretty dang unique flare to the blooms. I got Hapet Electra as well as I'm a big fan of variegated blooms (if you couldn't tell). I'm also really looking forward to the Hollyhill Tigerstripe Ted was offering.

I had tried for HH wicked witch but that was one of my disappearing acts from my shopping cart - I did manage to get HH dragon fire tho and I am very excited! I love the variegated ones too.
I know …kung foo kitty’s barbs look so intriguing- I have never grown a dahlia with that petal shape
I am never quick enough to get the newest HH intros but one day I will manage to get tiger stripe and wicked witch if it’s not new on the market at least it will be new to me lol

I grew a couple plants of Kung Fu Kitty last year. She was fun! The blooms aren’t very deep, but the barbs are pretty neat, she’s a lovely color, and vase life was pretty decent.

Oh that’s great to hear- i think this is going to be a happy unplanned purchase- I was so discombobulated at the mad dash of the cowlitz sale I just grabbed it without really knowing what it looked like 
At Cowlitz, I really wanted two, made the huge mistake of adding 4 and then trying to check out. Should have just stuck with my two!! I kept having to take one out at a time until I was down to 1 and that wouldn’t have met the $25.
