calico20hill That predicted 81 degree day has turned into 92 degrees...and tomorrow is supposed to be about the same. I got all the plants out of the greenhouse and they are on tables outside where they get at least part day shade. I am excited to get them into the ground with some soil insulation around them.
Now trying to organize what goes where in each bed...it would help if I could stay focused on my goals...I feel like I keep changing plans partly through the beds. Consistency has never been a real goal for me so it is hard to start now. Lots of 2nd year dahlias to grow this year..ones that I liked a lot last year. And trying to get the first year seedlings where they will neither be fried by late afternoon sun reflected off the metal garage, or seared by the main blast of sun in the afternoons on the most exposed parts of the beds.
I wish I had oriented the beds a bit differently so they would get more morning sun and less late afternoon sun.
