I posted Margaret's picture of Show-N-Tell at dusk onto the Portland Dahlia website with a Thanksgiving greeting. There are now over 430 likes. In the Fall, Show-N-Tell is Margaret's favorite dahlia in the garden. We grew lots of it this year. I wish it made seeds. In the picture to the right is a white flower and it is HH Snowdrop, the white "pom" that can grow to 7 feet tall. It was planted there in error but I took advantage of the situation and since Snowdrop makes some seeds and Show-N-Tell does not, I thought that a nice Show-N-Tell X Snowdrop cross would be interesting and so I collected seeds from Snowdrop. If you know very much about dahlia breeding, this breaks all rules as the flowers are different sizes and shapes and colors and forms . All they share is that they are dahlias and both make nice tubers.
