Bessie That is a great question. I grew 60 plants of Kelgai Ann last season all propagated from the 10 tubers I stored over from my single plant the previous season. The tubers from both tubers and cuttings are small but there were decent numbers of them in each clump and I haven't had an issue with storing them, though I do use the saran wrap method. (And yes, wrapping thousands of tubers is insane) Also it is a variety that wakes up fast and starts pushing out sprouts quickly, so it's easy to propagate that way. I truly do not understand. If you'd like, once I get finished shipping orders in a couple weeks, I can send you a couple unrooted Kelgai Ann cuttings. This will give me an opportunity to test out the mailing of unrooted cuttings using methods discussed here. 😊
