I don't know what happened to my garden this year but....everything is twice the size it was last year! Not the plants so much but the flowers. This one was a nice little 4.5" bb but this year it is 6.5".... I do have to say that it is just a sample...the same thing is happening all over my garden. 
. It does make. a beautiful garden but since I am working on cut flowers it makes them too big for the bouquets I would use them in.
We did not do a soil test this year, and just went with the one from the previous year...thinking that the garden had kind of stabilized in this 6th year. So far we have not had a disastrous heat dome or a late frost..no garden trauma. Will definitely do a test next year to see if we have overdone the fertilizer. And not quite sure where to go from here!
On the other hand, the flowers are gorgeous!
