Beautifully stated. There are as many motivations as there are people who participate in our hobby...and no two of them are the same. So many paths to choose, and so many treasures waiting just around that next bend in the road: and not "just" another beautiful flower. Maybe you'll bring joy to someone who really needs the boost. Maybe you'll inspire a total neophyte. Maybe you'll discover a new genetic treasure, one that will transcend the ages. Or, maybe you'll simply fill your own heart with the wonder that a lovely flower so richly exemplifies.
