AndreaB No. I don't think Bessie was one of the first customers for Swan Island. I put in an order in August when they reopen for the next season. Maybe someone was emptying the "Bonus Bin" before they closed up for the night....I like Swan Island. Good sturdy healthy tubers for the most part and helpful if you have a problem, as long as you are good mannered. I ordered Cupcake a few years ago and it bloomed open center with few petals,,,really a mess! But I sent a photo and was pleasant about it and was treated well and the tuber replaced the next season.
