Flower Two: Lavender is beautiful color and there are not enough of these "light purple" and sometimes "blue pink" flowers and those terms are for people who do not know the color lavender. In the show criteria, color is judged by it's even application and extra points are given for color that is not blotchy. A blend of colors to make a light blend or dark blend needs to have a demarcation between the colors an even distribution within the color. Pictures taken late in the season are not good in that flowers change so much in the cool weather. Form is another matter and although petal count is not a judging criteria , lower petal count flowers are less likely to have enough depth. Also the larger petals are less likely to placed in a regular manner throughout the bloom.
Flower One:
The picture of three flowers shows a dark blend that is not very blotchy but there are some streaks. In this pose judging the flower is difficult as one cannot see depth or look at the flower from the side. If there is dark pigment on the reverse of the florets, that would be a plus.
