Feeling pretty cheery today! I was looking at a pretty intense foot surgery with a long recovery time this winter to correct a bone deformity causing a bunion. Was a bit worried about how I’d be doing in May.
I just got a second opinion from a well respected surgeon at one of the big university hospital systems in Chicago, and he says he would strongly recommend against surgery in my case, unless I start having a lot of pain, which he predicts I won’t.
So I’m thinking, to celebrate, I need to dig up a bunch of sod and build a new dahlia bed for spring, right? It’s only logical.
