Our rain guage is our little creek. It is up to the top again but not overflowing. The current is fast in it as it speeds along toward the marshland between us and the Columbia River.
Husband cleaned the duck house and loaded the old litter onto my first raised dahlia bed. That leaves the other 5 needing some added nitrogen next year. Duck poop is not as hot as chicken poop so it should be ready to dig in at planting time.
Temperatures this winter so far have been so mild that the geraniums, pansies and petunias are still blooming in the porch flower boxes.
