NCDahlia Some of KA’s prior year releases that aren’t currently offered at Stonehouse are in their meristem tissue culture virus cleaning program. I believe that the eventual goal is to re-release older introductions as virus-free cuttings.
One of the most annoying hurdles in producing clean stock is that DMV is very prevalent and testing for that virus in particular sometimes yields false negatives. I believe that Stonehouse and Kristine want to offer us what we want, but good things take time.
I’m really hoping for a KA’s Khaleesi re-release. Those blooms lasted forever in the vase and the plant had a strong will to grow bloom. All that in a plant that was both TSV+ and DMV+ in my garden.
