River's Phoenix, this is the second bloom holding steady at 3” for me - need a better regimented dis-budding routine apparently. I’ve finally begun disbudding but I’ve got some catching up to do, for sure.
Ad Lib being purple and huge! This angle hides the slightly open center on this first bloom, hoping the centers pull it together as the season continues.
Looks like I may have my first mislabel. Not sure what this 8” messy-centered situation is. I popped it into a FB channel to see if anyone recognized it, but came up empty handed. I almost missed it altogether because the stem is so short it was choked by stems and hidden, deep in the plant by the foliage. Of what I ordered this year, it maybe looks closest to (while nothing like) Bubbling Over.
