Krista Teddahlia Thank you for sharing this capture! Here’s my crap-resolution attempt - this one also has drool-worthy stems and the bloom truly glows, it’s just outstanding. Also, could I ask who this loner by the greenhouse is? Whoa, what a babe!
Teddahlia We grew a Hollyhill PDX Sunset in a pot with HH Regal. They do not pair well in a pot as PDX is a giant horse. DX is one of the easiest large dahlias to grow and makes good tubers.
Juliarugula Teddahlia First year seedling: Cell phone picture and it deserves a real camera to show all those spots and dots. Really gorgeous - love this one!
Teddahlia Margaret used this pink cactus second year seedling in her Hogarth curve entry at the National show. It is a prolific bloomer and has excellent flowers with no disbudding and even better if you disbud.
KitCMC Teddahlia it looks particularly beautiful with the red accents! Congrats to Margaret & Hollyhill!
Juliarugula Teddahlia that is such a perfect arrangement! I think out of all of Margaret’s arrangements you’ve posted this might be my favorite - it’s so delicate and balanced.
Krista Emilyp Pretty! I love a nice dark stem. To delete: three dots menu on the post itself > edit > delete content
blown_dry Emilyp I went ahead and deleted it since I was here, but @Krista is correct about how to delete your own posts. 🙂
Teddahlia I took this picture with my cell phone yesterday. This is seedling 20-150, a 6th generation seedling of our breeding. I hope Margaret will name it as it is really pretty and it is a bit more open during the day as this was taken in the very early evening. Good tuber maker and keeper too. Krista Teddahlia Wow, it’s fantastic when bloom-photos capture that spirally petal pattern. This flower is outstanding, her colors, I’d love to have her growing in my waterlily bed!
calico20hill I hope I will be able to get any of your new ones this year. Last year was very difficult but I got a few from trades with others here. The trade in rooted cuttings has helped. But I would love to be able to buy tubers like I used to.
