i have to go to the garden but will respond to this with a few pictures. i have large hands too. my favorite is one that can't really get wet and was made for gardeners. if nothing else, will find my duct taped one and insert a picture. i keep thinking it was called something like gardener's friend, and it's green. i think it has cardboard inside. keeps the wrist stable and i can fit a large glove over that. So glad the MSM is helping, i am not sure about taking it daily - have never tried it - but i don't think taking more often than in emergency status can hurt anything.
I also, like everyone over 50, have arthritis and thumb tendinitis. That's a whole 'nother animal. The thumb joints, in women, are what wear out most commonly, and likely for anyone doing a lot of fine-motor activity (electricians, etc) and picking up firewood the wrong way - doh!
