Teddahlia who wants to have the plants ruined by a dog?
It's a shame some people think their children can do no wrong, especially when their "child" destroys your property after you have notified their parents before.
I remember when I was a kid, my parents had a bird feeder in their yard and the neighbor-lady had a cat that kept coming over and hunting the birds at the feeder. My father told her several times about her cat killing feeder birds and asked her to keep the cat in her own yard. She ignored him so, the next time the cat came over, he trapped it and took it to the animal shelter. He told the lady if she wanted her cat back she could find it at the animal shelter. The lady had to pay to "adopt" her own cat and it never came back to the bird feeder.
The lazy So Cal way to deal with it would be to take a smartphone video of the dog destroying the plants and then sue the owners in small claims court for the damages.
