I agree. Until she has made a good faith effort to make her former customers whole, I don't feel the past has been put to rest in any meaningful way.

PNWGal Julie did say she had paid everybody back for the bad tubers. Several DA reviews said she refunded for tubers but not for the shipping, so I don't know whether she eventually covered that or not.

That was not my experience. I only emailed once, with photos, but I did not receive a reply and didn’t pursue it further.

PNWGal I just had an email today from a supplier who thanked me for the info and described their experience with 'Julie's Dahlias' thus: "I too was majorly screwed over". I wish I thought the version of events where everyone was paid back was the correct one. For myself, I never received an order or refund.

PNWGal She needs to apologize to a lot of people. Can't just hit a "re-do" button and hope bygones be bygones. People will eventually know and react accordingly.

Well, I can say Teresa of Cowlitz River is an angel. Out of embarrassment, I reached out to apologize for my ordering errors, and instead of chastising me, is graciously honoring my intended one-each of the varieties I chose too many of. I can’t imagine having the patience to go through and make adjustments and refunds at this point. She is supremely wonderful and I wanted to share my joy.

Krista Yes, Teresa is the best! Its why I was so upset when our communication links failed but she came through for me in getting around the problem. Looks like the potential icy roads are going to keep me from our planned rondevous at the Dahlia Club meeting tomorrow...Hard to exchange tubers and cuttings over a ZOOM meeting!

calico20hill I’m sorry the weather won’t be cooperating with Dahlia Club tomorrow! Imagining an attempted tuber exchange via Zoom gave me a tickle though. I hope the weather clears soon and the two of you can meet soon, it’ll feel good to have your desired tubers in-hand!

I sent off an email to Birch Bay Dahlias 3 days ago inquiring about tuber sales and shipping for the 2023 season. I haven't received a reply yet.

I just saw where she said "Maybe around the 25th" though she won't be totally done dividing by then.

I feel like promoting an overlooked dahlia which I grew and just dug (what a mild winter!) called Yo Adrian. I ordered a new one just in case and its still in stock. I found the red to be more magenta-ish than the photo:
