There are not many early morning east coast openings. I love them. Everyone can't be happy. 9am PST sale, my waking day is already 1/3 over and I'm usually already out and about in my day. Not making everybody happy, also means there are people that are very happy. I hope John is able to shake off those that are unhappy.
I agree with you. It's amazing the little things people complain about. I was surprised the website texted me a verification link. It slowed me down and had Barbarry Jester fall out. Maybe I'm sick, maybe I'm addicted to more than the dahlias. I like the checkout, and I don't get upset something falls out. Sellers do the best they can. They're also all different which I appreciate. If they all accepted the same sort of payments, then only those with the quick payments have a chance. I don't have Venmo, Apple Pay, I really hate when my phone forces me to use Google Pay (I have to figure out how to remove the cc). I hate the google pay because I don't get the same confirmation email as I do with my credit card.
Only one time did I get upset during checkout, I was trying to check out and a friend was buying dahlias for the first time. Shop sent me a verification code, and as it came through my friend called. When I tried to pull up the code she called again. Repeat this about five times. I was screaming. It took about 30 minutes for me to laugh about it. Today, I can't recall which farm, what I was purchasing and if I managed to secure the tubers or not. I only recall the story.
