Hello everyone,
I'm a rosarian/ budding Dahlia enthusiast trying to grow dahlias for the first time. Given the small garden space overrun by roses, I resorted to growing dahlias in half-wine barrels, knowing fully it’s experimental because some articles advise against growing dahlias in containers and some the opposite. So far, the dahlias are growing nicely and disease free. I turn on the drip for an hour 6 days a week. This morning I observed the newly formed buds were facing down. Not sure if that's how the Dahlia bloom or if there's something I should be aware of? Any pointers and suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
