BarryO Luckily there was a shipping confirmation number so I knew to watch for the mail truck this afternoon and got them inside immediately. It also helps that I work from home most days. I always have a hard time picking shipping dates anyway - the weather this time of year is so variable and I'm impatient.

I got the “in stock” email from North Cascade today and was able to get 3 I had wanted. I know one sold out but if anyone’s interested you could check to see what’s been restocked.

Are farms sending out tubers earlier this year? I think in the past, I only had a couple the first week in April. I suppose the quicker they get rid of their tubers the sooner they can do other things. I have a pile in my house that I usually don't have until mid April. Seems risky, but so far so good.

Funny - I was just thinking it seems late to me. Two years ago I remember I took a trip to Ireland the first week of April and to my embarrassment had to call my husband every single day to bring in all the boxes of tubers that were delivered while I was gone. I think it was something like twenty orders that were delivered that week. This year I’ve only received a couple of orders so far. I guess because the universe can’t laugh at me by making me sheepishly have to ask my husband to bring them in…

I am glad most of the shipping is done: "I suppose the quicker they get rid of their tubers the sooner they can do other things." Gardeners have very little to do and they send out tubers because they are bored. Taking the hundreds of cuttings and planting a bazillion seeds takes no time at all .

Yea seems late to me as well - I still am waiting on 5 orders. Lobaugh's prob will get in this week I already got connels and i got fernclif gardens. I froget who else i ordered from .

If I ship later I get emails asking where the hell their tubers are. If I ship earlier I get emails asking why the hell I'm shipping already.

Can't please everybody so I err on the side of early, weather depending. I don't see how there's an issue just storing them with your other tubers if you're not ready to plant, take cuttings or pot them up.

MIDahlias Lobaugh’s has already shipped mine (northern Indiana - might as well be in Michigan). I’m still waiting to hear from more than 75% of the rest of my orders this year.

I spaced on crazy 4 again and missed the hollyhill WL again lol. I did get HH PDX Sunset and rich gibson new For Mom so happy with that.

I am donating one each of our new waterlilies to the Portland club for their annual auction. The club's "member only" sale is April 9th. If most everything sells, there may not be any public sales this year and that includes the internet sale using Squarespace. Donations are down and speculation is that since the average price of a tuber is much higher these days that people are selling them rather than donating them.

Teddahlia I'm behind. I'm done dividing but I'm still behind in sorting. I keep saying I'll be done in two weeks and two weeks comes and goes and then I repeat. I really need to figure someway to insulate my garage or part of my garage, so I keep tubers at my house instead of going to my parents' house.

I had quite a pile to donate then found out that my daughter had lost all of hers in a freeze of her winter storage area. Gotta help my girl first.

I have about half of my orders probably due to being in California. Got Cowlitz yesterday. Lobaughs even a couple weeks ago.

Ok, so I counted and I was wrong. I’m still waiting for slightly more than 50% of my orders to ship. I’ve received or at least received notification of shipment on almost half of my orders.

I didn’t order quite as much this year as I did the past two years, so I guess it just doesn’t feel like much has shipped.
