Tulips picked by my 3 year old = random and mostly short stems 😂

I planted tulip bulbs in 2021 (“mammoth” tulips, I think I bought from Costco). The mix was pink, yellow and red. A couple weeks after all my tulips had bloomed this year I spotted this dark dark purple one in my garden.
I am so puzzled as to where this tulip came from or how it got here! Mutation? A squirrel planted it? My memory is crap and it’s been here the whole time? Anyone else have a theory? A dark purple one like this would stand out amongst the pink red and yellow blooms.
