To piggy back on Missy, the months of planning Elkhart put in leading up to the show made the Midwest Show one of the best. I love the venue because the hotel is walking distance from the hotel. It exhibition rooms were spacious, but not too spacious The only thing I missed was chatting with people to simply catch up. It was a busy weekend and during the only "free" time, I took a nap.
I appreciate there was a junior section for 13 and under. Although my granddaughter was the only one to enter. Her "mug" arrangements looked professional (maybe I'm biased) a member of SEMDS has been taking floral arrangement classes. Last month she sat on the ground and taught my granddaughter how to put a mug floral arrangement together. I would never dreamed mugs could look so great.
T&M's Hollyhill Cotton Candy made the honor's table. It definitely was the most unique and perfection living up to it's name.
I tried to enter Gretchen a seedling named by Mike Iler before he passed. It was honestly the only show worthy bloom I brought. It was classified, but never made it to the table to be judged.
(Going through my phone I can't believe I don't have any pictures of the mugs, hopefully, my mom took some)
