OK. I guess we need some of those flowers to warm us up! We are now up to 45 which is certainly more pleasant than alst week. Gloomy overrcast here is blocking the sun's rays.

Teddahlia Good lawd! It’s 57F in seattle and I thought that was heavy duty.

Got out and did some garden cleanup I should have completed in September, so that was a win. Also dug the last of my tubers still in the ground and they look great! I’m noting the bed-locations and the temps we experienced earlier this month so I have a record of what tubers can withstand in those places in the garden.

I really enjoyed the balmy temps to wash clumps on this bright afternoon and will be dividing on our dining room table for the next few days.

Our sunrise was very orange too but the view was obstructed by the neighbors derelict car he thinks is worth something.

Margaret and I are cutting up downed trees in our forest. I bought an electric chainsaw and it works very well. However, my 76 year old body cannot do more than about an hour and half of this kind of work. Here is picture of Margaret and the dogs in the forest just below our property. You would never guess but this was once an electric railroad built after WWI and deactivated in the 1920s. Tracks and railroad ties long gone but the right of way is still there. Now owned by the tri County government and is protected from development.
