SuzanneM If the plant wasn't drooping before you planted it in the container I would place the container in shade and wait for a few days to see if it recovers. If it recovers then gradually acclimate it to full/partial (depending on where you live) sun. Unless you are growing in a very large container, I would keep the container itself shaded from the sun. Feeder roots will be near the outer part of the container and can burn badly if the container (especially black) is exposed to full summer sunlight. Normally, a large foliage canopy can help shade a container but in your case you will have to watch the soil temperature.
