Croydon Masterpiece is another one I haven't grown since my third year of gardening. It's a shame the sun bleaches the petals so quick here but I also kinda like the look of it.

Here is Penhill Watermelon. Quite the workhorse for a giant.

Bessie They are nice and firm! They lasted a good five or six days in the vase when cut early in the morning and still pumping out lots of buds.

One of these photos is the "mystery" Dahlia that was obviously mis-labeled. The other two photos have identities that jive with the label.
So are all these Dahlias grown in different parts of my yard the same variety?

Bessie 1 & 3 look similar to AC GPS. Not sure what #2 is.

I’ve tried twice to get Penhill Watermelon. The first time I received Stolze Von Berlin 🥴 and the second time it was bad stock. Thanks for sharing its beauty!

AndreaB I hope you get some good stock. It's the only giant in the 'most offered' list, and I assume this is due to it's unusual vigor. This clump is not only unfertilized it's only half planted. I am sure I will have some to share.

Hapet Austrian Lace is such a gorgeous bloom. Unfortunately, I find that it consistently has the shortest vase life of any dahlia I’ve grown.i thought so last year, but decided to try it again this year with similar results. It totally wilts after 2-3 days. So disappointing.

KA’s Khaleesi is finally blooming. I double-disbudded, and had two main branches. This bloom was 9”.

Shiloh Noelle is back - love her.

My Radeghast was kind of unimpressive. Seems like the edges got burnt by the heat though - maybe blooms will improve when it cools down.

AC Edmonds. I really like how it fades in a vase. The center sort of gets hints of gold - interesting.

Juliarugula Shiloh Noelle looks iridescent, almost like old fashioned ribbon candy and AC Edmonds is lovely - even faded. I’m hoping your Radeghast shapes up too, id love to see more photos of that one!

KA Cloud has begun blooming, I’ve been delicately dis-budding but I see I’ll need to be more aggressive if I want larger blooms.

AC Tweedly Dum bloomed today too - what is the form on this one? Informal decorative? To my very novice eye, it looks like it’s trying to be a stellar. I didn’t capture the color well this evening, it’s a very deep bright pink, and I’m surprised to see some variegation!

Honnat I really like my River's Cherry Bomb. She is a darker red than anticipated, so I will need to find another lighter red dahlia that is floriferous and makes a good cut. Any suggestions? I would like to order something from River's. I know a lot of people in 'dahlialand' ordered from them.

Krista I love this flower arangement really pretty! what is the pink water lily at the top? Thanks for sharing all the flowers this year, I lost a good deal of my plants to voles so its good to see how others are growing since I will have to replace a lot 🙂

AndreaB AC Edmonds was introduced this year. The photo is deceptive, partially because of the lighting and partially because the bloom has faded a lot. It’s a pretty bright dark red. I’ll see if I can find a photo in the garden…

NCDahlia Oh I’ve heard lots of ~~coke~~ [Edit: “vole” 😅] damage this year, I’m sorry it’s been a rough season for you. The top waterlily shown is HH Daydream! She seems to be a dustier pink for me which is more muted than other photos I’ve seen of her online. Definitely a gem, and has been in neck & neck competition with Sandia Bertha as most floriferous of all other varieties - and these two are crushing it by a long shot.
