Teddahlia Oh wow, even just very tiny cuttings can travel, this is great to hear. My concern is because I pulled a rooted cutting from its bag yesterday and it immediately wilted, possibly due to temperature change? It moved near a window so it may have been very slightly cooler. In any case, I worried this might happen in shipping without supervision and the plant would arrive too far gone.
I’m also surprised to hear no medium, but the jostling in shipping makes sense now! I can try to shake off the germination mix before packaging - this won’t be too rough on the plant? It’s good to hear clam shells aren’t required, would you mist the plant, or pop it in a plastic baggie to make sure it doesn’t dry out?
Also, I have some loose lamb’s wool - is there any reason I shouldn’t replace Steve Meggos easter egg fake grass (which I think is fantastic!) with it? Not sure if some wisps of wool would be a bad idea so close to dahlia foliage.
