Singles, Orchids and Collarettes as cut dahlias

Does anyone know of any of these 8-ray-floret varieties that retain all 8 florets for 5 days in a vase at room temp? Assuming they are cut when almost fully open.

We need some shows where they have you deliver the flowers on the first week end and they judge them the second week end.

I haven't done any really measured testing but definitely should. I prefer to cut collarettes slightly before fully open and definitely before any pollen shows.

MissyWeitzel I learned about floral "finishing spray" in floral design classes. The formula helps retain moisture. I'm wondering if something like that would work on Dahlias, especially ones with an open center. Products include FloraLife Finishing Touch or Crowning Glory.

I have a tough time with open center types of dahlias. I like fully double and maybe anemone. I saw a perfect orchette flower drop a floret an few minutes before judging.
