Bessie in general, Miniatures, BBs, MBs and Balls. Most of the really traditional florists don't venture too far from those except maybe with poms for wedding wearables. However, bucket type florist shops that sell to the public as well as more contemporary designers and event florists embrace pretty much everything except maybe giants. These are my prime customers. Since my main crop are tubers and I grow more for that, I'm not growing cut flowers in the traditional sense of having hundreds of the same 10 variety plants. I primarily sell mixed buckets or cut for a color palette of mixed varieties that fit. I've been testing out a few other types of flowers to see if I want to become more of a real cut flower grower with offerings besides dahlias and I've fallen in love with lisianthus. Obviously it's gorgeous and it lasts almost forever in a vase but what really makes me crazy for it is the stark contrast in pest pressure when compared to every pests favorite meal - dahlias! Ok now I'm off on another tangent. Oops!
