Fantastic year with plenty of rain and high temps throughout Sept and Oct here in upstate NY near Lake Ontario.
Plant foliage just now turning black after last nights' Killer Frost. My question is: will tubers be best prepared for digging/over wintering if I leave the blackened tops in place...or can I remove the ugly tops and allow the clumps to remain underground for another two weeks? Thanks!
