This past spring I bought and received the "Romantic Mix" from Eden brothers which included 5 dahlia tubers "Sweet Nathalie," "Eveline," "Klondyke," "Fleural," and "Gitt's Perfection." All of the first 4 grew into the dahlias that were listed and look identical to how these dahlia's should look except for the 5th variety listed- Gitt's perfection. I have attached a photo of the dahlias that grew from the 5th tuber. I am new to growing dahlias, but the dahlia that is pictured doesn't seem similar to what the description or pictures of Gitt's perfection should be. The one that grew seems to be some sort of Cactus variety of dahlia. It was a prolific bloomer and measured about 6 inches
Although the flower was beautiful, I feel a bit disappointed. What do you all think? Am I correct that this flower could not be a Gitt's Perfection? Thanks for your insight!
