Bessie yes I totally agree - I am a small-scale grower, and this certainly would not work for growing out 1000+ seedlings. It does seem though that the timeline of line breeding could be cut in half with some strategic planning for a much smaller number of plants. I think I’ll play around with the early blooming varieties I have in my garage this winter, and if it works well, I may put a plan in place for getting extra seasons of certain varieties.
