Krista to discover if seeds are growing in the seed pod, after there are no remaining anthers on the pod, gently squeeze the pods between your thumb and finger. When there's no seed it will be squishy like a marshmallow. When seeds are growing, depending on how many seeds are inside, you will a feel slight firmness to almost solid harness in the pod. Anxious to know if there's any seed.... Before the seed pod closes and is cone shaped, I push down gently on the top of the pod to see if I can feel seeds poking up.
