I come to you with a heavy heart, asking for help. I'll keep the sad story brief, but an avid gardening friend & neighbor just suddenly lost his adult child, Joy, who had a deep love of purple.
I would like to give this father/neighbor/friend Purple Joy dahlias to add to the amazing perennial garden he has cultivated as a memorial, but am not able for find them for sale this time of year. I'm wondering if someone could help me with a cutting or tuber that we could keep potted until next year's planting season. Of course I'm happy to compensate anyone for the trouble and the cost of shipping, or would be thrilled to be connected with a supplier that has some Purple Joy tubers tucked away somewhere.
