calico20hill Snoho Storm completely made my jaw drop at the Kitsap show last weekend. I’m really looking forward to discovering more varieties with this form! I just love that there’s always a new rabbit hole to dive into, head first when it comes to dahlias.

Hollyhill Moonsong. While there are definitely at least ten dahlias I say may be my favorite dahlia…. This really truly may be my favorite dahlia.

Skipley Reboot. It’s both smaller and darker than I remember it from the trial garden, but it really is lovely.

Juliarugula Those are all magnificent! I am waiting on the water lilies here. I’m so glad that I added Ginger Snap and Silver Years late in the planting season. GS is just emerging and it’s wonderful. Pics soon!

Juliarugula Not sure if you do IG but I just saw Kale Lane Dahlias post an image of their HH Moonsong and it is super blushy! Interesting to see the variation.

ChrissyPDX I find it interesting how much September Morn has a similar form to Gay Princess pictured below. I wonder if they are genetically related.

I managed to get Hollyhill Court Jester from Old House Dahlias during their opening day website fiasco and the variety on the blooms is fantastic.

Here's Hollyhill PDX Sunset that I bought from Hollyhill.

AndreaB was nice enough to send more than a few tubers my way and this Hollyhill Starburst bloom makes me wish I'd grown it when I had the first chance to.

Cowlitz supplied quite the nice stock of Radegast.

edewitt Thanks for sharing these! I got HHCJ from Old House last year. I've been waiting to see if it is one of the survivors in my front bed. Some very cool varieties.

Krista wow! What a difference - that’s crazy! I wonder if that’s a result of weather/fertilizer/soil, or if it’s a sport? I’m assuming the former, but I haven’t really noticed a huge amount of color variation on mine.

I’d actually follow Kale Lane but I hadn’t seen that post yet.

Here are Ginger Snap and Ferncliff Copper. GS was a late addition and bloomed at around 80 days. It was just one tuber and the plant is absolutely gorgeous, with dark green foliage that has a distinctive scalloped edge. FCC came from my own tubers. The plant was very slow to start, and now it’s a sturdy monster in need of a whack. Last year, my FCC was much more yellow, I suspect because it got some shade in the prior location. The center is still a bit mangled. I’ve had four almost identical blooms so far.

Ginger Snap was one of the first dahlias I grew (many moons ago).
And I don’t even think I saved the tubers back then! Might have to give it another try.
