My buddy and I both began to 'wake up' our over-wintered tubers, or plant purchased tubers, during early to mid March here in Upstate NY. He used his basement LED lighting system exclusively, while I grew them out in a cool-ish greenhouse. The foliage growth on his plants is just phenominal. It will be interesting to see how these two batches adapt to outdoor weather conditions as they are planted out in the comming weeks.
